Los Angeles Comic Con • October 30–November 1, 2026

This October, thousands of people will move through Los Angeles Comic Con.
There will be costumes.

Panels.

Artists.

Comics.

Celebrities.

Collectors.

Noise.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it: A large black box.

There will be a door. On the door will be one number.

13.

Some people will walk past it. Some will stop. Some will take a picture. Some will wonder what the hell is inside. And some will open the door.

That’s where things get interesting.

Inside, visitors will enter the world of THE 13. They’ll meet Caleb, a social-justice lawyer who happens to be a monkey, and begin to encounter the story, ideas and questions behind the project.
We could explain exactly what happens inside. We’re not going to.

Mystery seems to have become dangerously undervalued.

What we will tell you is that the black box isn’t simply a Comic-Con stunt. It’s an entrance.

THE 13 began with a graphic novel, but the project was never intended to remain trapped between two covers. We want people to step into it. Encounter it. Question it. And eventually become part of it.

The black box is our first experiment in doing exactly that.

THE 13 will make its Los Angeles Comic Con debut October 30 through November 1, 2026.

Between now and then, we’ll reveal a little more. A little.

But there is only one way to see everything.

Open the door.
